Young musical artist, 28 year old Jake Aldridge, has just announced the release of his first-time collaboration with fellow UK artist and singer/songwriter, Ellie Jamison, as a way of thanks to a loyal friend for many years of support.

Ellie has been performing since the age of 9 and has worked closely with Amy Wadge, who co-wrote the Grammy winning song, Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud.

When I’m Feeling Down has further built-in quality as it features production by California-based Johann Elliott, who has worked with Jake on previous tracks.

When I’m Feeling Down can be downloaded from iTunes, Spotify and most other online music stores from 27th May 2016.

Jake commented: “A great Kanye West Lyric said: When you admire someone you should go ahead and tell them. That is what I wanted to do with this song and to thank my best friend for always being there for me and I hope it inspires others to be thankful for their true friends as well.”

Aldridge, who is from Suffolk in the UK, has been busy building his credentials. His music video for a previous single, Give You The World, which was filmed in Spain, went to number one on the VTYO video charts.

He has signed a publishing deal with Leopard Music, a synchronisation deal with Go DIY Records and also secured a sponsorship deal with Asia-based RudeBoy clothing line.

Jake’s music career came about rather unexpectedly after losing his father when at just 11 years old; he eventually turned to his diary as a way to cope with his grief. He started out with a £12 Microphone and a pop shield made from a sock.

Today, Jake Aldridge is a professional singer in his own right, racking up over 100,000 plays online and working with some top names in the industry to write and produce music.
