Four years in the making, today marks the release T. Thomason’s self-titled debut album, available for streaming everywhere. As the first album released under his new name, T. Thomason will take listeners on an emotional journey of the transformation Thomason has made as a musician and as an individual. From the emotional empowerment of the opening track “Birdsong” through to the joyfully dreamy conclusion of “Bliss”, Thomason demonstrates his strengths as both a songwriter and vocalist from beginning to end.

“T. Thomason is the result of four years of collaboration between myself and producer Dave Henriques. Four years of growing and learning, massive change – yet many things unchanging, unconditional,” explains Thomason. “Though our experiences are vastly different, Dave was the best collaborator and witness to all of this that I could have asked for. The record is a snapshot of the ups and downs of chasing dreams which seemed completely impossible at times, coming to self-determination and the freedom it brings, and being faced with the beautiful/ugly realities of the worlds we find ourselves part of. I am so grateful to have a document of this time. I became T. Thomason as this record was made. In huge part, thanks to this record being made. Now that I know who I am, I am excited to share that person with you. Thank you for listening.”

To celebrate the release, T. Thomason will have release shows both in Toronto (Baby G on September 26) and Halifax (Bus Stop Theatre on October 3) ahead of his European fall tour where he will be taking the album across the UK. Canadian fans can also catch Thomason at POP Montreal this weekend, September 28.
