Toronto rapper Yung Tory is the newest artist to release his debut EP on Timbaland’s new Mosley Music Group/Def Jam Recordings joint venture, with today’s arrival of STILL HERE. Produced by Timbaland and several of his other producers the the 6-song EP track list comprises: 1. “I Wanna Rock” * 2. “Me & You” * 3. “Aww Sh*t” * 4. “Lola” * 5. “Picture Me” * 6. “Said You Love Me.”News of upcoming videos, as well as the premiere Canadian tour by Yung Tory will be announced in the weeks and months ahead.

    LISTEN TO “STILL HERE”

23-year old Yung Tory caught the brass ring when a song he posted on his SoundCloud, “Water,” grabbed the attention of Chicago mainstay Lil Durk, who brought him to the Windy City to work on his music. A national tour together soon followed, at which point Timbaland got into the picture. He took notice of Tory’s one-of-a-kind style via “Friends,” which propelled him into international consciousness with a remix from Marshmello and Anne-Marie. Tory is among the first wave of next-gen hip-hop artists to emerge via the Mosley Music Group/Def Jam Recordings joint venture, along with Chicago’s Cosha TG (“War”).

    WATCH “SAID YOU LOVE ME”

Toronto, CA native Yung Tory (aka Itory Patterson-Christy) got his humble start at age ten, playing a karaoke video game and discovering his voice through the game.  He quickly fell in love with the idea of making music, and was eventually inspired to pursue his talents after visiting a studio for the first time in eighth grade.

As Tory began to turn his life experiences into songs, a distinctive sense of artistry developed. The positive arc of his career has swept from posting “Water” on his SoundCloud and mentoring with Lil Durk, to dropping the “Friends” remix, and heading into the studio with Timbaland.  Needless to say, Yung Tory doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.
