Stephen Steinbrink, the prolific Oakland-based singer-songwriter, has shared the album stream for his anticipated new album, Utopia Teased. Paste Magazine, who premiered the stream today is calling it a “faithful reflection of his head space in all its disarray, awash in agonized humanity… a 37-minute dream that teeters on the knife edge of a nightmare. Steinbrink grapples with all existence over distorted synths, drum machines and guitars, holding his own eyes open to take in the horror and beauty of it all.” Utopia Teased is available for pre-order now and due out this Friday, November 9th via Western Vinyl and Melodic Records.
