(BOSTON, MA) Sleeping Bela emerges from a musical hiatus with a vibrant new sound on her latest song “Come Back to Me”.

“Come Back to Me” breaks into a new genre almost effortlessly. Her latest single takes a new approach to the heartbreak that she regularly pairs with soft keys and sad melodies. Known for her melancholy sound that often finds a spot in her fans’ wind-down playlists, there will certainly be a different trend with this one.

Mainly influenced by artists like Lorde, Phoebe Bridgers and Lana Del Rey; most of her music rings of heartache seeped in thoughts of whether or not a lover will return. This time, “Come Back To Me” emerges brave and strong. The song does not ask if the lover will stay but confidently proclaims that they will come back to her always. That is, if they are true.

“It was inspired by a camping trip out in the woods with my partner. There’s something about a night under the stars with no service that brings out all of the emotions. We argued but slowly entered this endearing space with each other where we both felt safe and accepted. I made a wish that night that despite any bump in the road, they would always come back to me.”

The single is, without a doubt, different from the music she’s put out in the past. Still, the young artist is excited to bring forth a new energy to her musical space. After a week of being locked into the studio – for what she described to be a “bootcamp music session”- the artist and her team set out on a mission. To create something that stood out from the rest of her musical discography. Somewhere in between the 33 incomplete demos, came the song “Come Back to Me”.

“There were lots of tears” she explains “creating something new is always challenging. There were moments where my producer would make a beat I didn’t particularly enjoy and encourage me to put a melody or words over it and I would hate it. But, it made me grow a bunch. And, essentially gave us a really fun and great song.”

The multifaceted artist has been musically driven since the earliest moments that she can remember, recalling her mother as her earliest influence and an “introduction to how powerful the voice can be through song.” She has since been nominated for the Boston Music Awards, opened for various artists such as Kevin Holliday and is excited to release her newest music video alongside the single in the forthcoming weeks.
