Sometimes I’ll have a topic I want to write about and I try to find a beat that will suit the vibe I’m going for….
With Differences I actually recorded the song a few months ago. I literally had a bunch of lyrics written to a different beat but it wasn’t quite hitting how I wanted it to, so I found another beat and the lyrics literally fit perfectly on top of it, give or take some minor adjustments and I built the song from there…
I think I only had the first verse at the time and then once I got that down, the chorus and the second verse just came to me naturally, I just needed to ensure I got everything off my chest about the situation that I felt was important to say, that was the main goal.”
