Toronto, ON (June 14, 2019) – Steady rising Toronto rapper Puffy L’z drops the first single and video for “Front Gate” from his debut mixtape Take No L’z (July 12).

As a very well respected wordsmith based in Toronto’s Regent Park, Canada’s largest social housing neighborhood, Puffy has developed a reputation for creating potent street anthems. After bursting onto the scene with his first commercial single “Been Flexing,” it was his 2018 hit single “RiRi” that premiered on The FADER which ultimately catapulted him to global prominence amassing millions of streams and views online. Literally groomed for success after performing 15 European dates on Drake’s “Boy Meets World Tour,” Puffy gets the assist on his new surefire hit single from one of the UK’s most successful rappers Giggs.

The MOBO and BET Award-winning emcee adds his trademark gruff and sinister sound to “Front Gate” while painting some of the same unique urban narratives that helped drive him to the top of the charts. Ultimately, Puffy L’z’s “Front Gate” is a celebration of the beautiful struggle.
