Record Release Show at Lodge Room Highland Park

Los Angeles, CA – Friday, June 15th

“Paid In Exposure is a cohesive rock project that’s full of energy, loud guitars, and catchy refrains… Sharp explores myriad topics like soul-searching and heartbreak for a heavy-hitting project that can resonate with those who love his anime-inspired compositions, new listeners, and everyone in between.” – BILLBOARD

NateWantsToBattle – brainchild of YouTube sensation, singer, pianist, guitarist, and songwriter Nathan Sharp – has released his latest solo effort Paid In Exposure just last week (June 1, 2018). With 1.3 million subscribers and over 500 million views on his YouTube channel alone as well as 10 million plays on his most streamed track on Spotify, it’s no surprise Sharp teamed up with Billboard to unveil all 10 tracks one day in advance and went on to be the top trending story of the day. Additionally, the EP peaked at #3 on the iTunes alternative chart and #16 overall on release day. Paid In Exposure serves as a follow up to the positively received album Sandcastle Kingdoms which dropped last year and charted #1 on iTunes Alternative Albums and Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart.

When asked about Paid In Exposure, Sharp said: “Paid In Exposure was written over the course of a year where some major life changes and outlooks took place in my life. There were some major events that all happened so fast-paced and back to back and this album, lyrically, is the narrative of that roller coaster. Creatively, it has more character and more illustration than anything I’ve worked on before. Sonically speaking, I wanted every song to be different, but still belong on the same album.”

NateWantsToBattle is set to celebrate the release of Paid In Exposure at Lodge Room Highland Park in Los Angeles, CA on Friday, June 15th. Doors will open at 8pm and tickets are on sale now, here:https://bit.ly/2sDmRG0.
