2019 might be coming to a close but mxmtoon isn’t slowing down closing out the year with one more video from her breakout debut album the masquerade. The 19-year-old singer-songwriter has just returned from her run of UK dates after a completely sold out North American fall tour.
The video is for the song “unspoken words” is perfectly timed for the holidays and celebrates family and what it means to come together.
Maia tells us “This music videos means a lot to me, as I was really able to dive into my experience growing up as Chinese-American! It’s rare and wonderful when you’re able to share pieces of your world, and working on this video was both challenging in trying to express a personal story in a fun way but to keep it meaningful as well. Videos have been my favorite way of expressing my songs visually so far, and this one is no exception.”
