Today, Miquela shares the music video for her infectious new single, “Money” directed by Charlotte Rutherford. The “Money” music video features Sophie Meiers, Josephine Lee, Alanna Pearl, Zuri Marley and a multitude of Miquela’s internet-famous friends together at a LA house party.
“Money” features Chris Wallace and Nisha Asnani on production and writer duties, respectively. The left-field pop singer spoke on the origins of the songs, noting: “I make music because it makes me feel less alone (and because it convinces Lyft drivers to give me their aux cords). That’s why I share it with you! Hopefully it can help you feel less alone, too. Money is made-up, but love isn’t! That’s why I wrote [“Money”] about spending $20 on a pressed juice for your crush because they’re looking extra cute that day. Also, it’s a bop—so there’s that too!” “Money” was released along with the companion single, “Sleeping In,” produced by Danny L Harle and Vegyn.
