16-year-old self-made phenomenon Loren Gray makes her major label debut with “My Story.”With her magnetic vocals and frank lyrics, Loren offers a fresh perspective on bad boys and bad choices, reflecting with characteristic aplomb, “gotta mess up to write my story.” The infectious, tropical-laced single, which was released today by Virgin Records, is available for download / streaming HERE. View the vertical video on Spotify.

Loren recorded “My Story” at AlphaDog Studio Complex in London with producer Sky Adams (Kylie Minogue). She wrote the track with Blair Dreelan, Sky Adams, Felecity Birt and Danny Shah.

A Los Angeles-based social media superstar who has more than 13 million Instagram followers, Loren grew up near Philadelphia, where she began playing piano as a child. At age 13, she took a daring first step toward realizing her lifelong musical dreams by belting out a stunning Vance Joy cover onstage at a meet-and-greet tour event.

“My heart was racing,” remembers Loren. “But then I ended up getting this great reaction, which made me realize, ‘Okay—I can do this.’”

Dedicated to creating her own distinct brand of pop, she began posting her songs online. A spirit of determination has long driven Loren, who launched a YouTube channel with videos routinely earning upwards of six million views each. At 14, she revealed her natural finesse as an entrepreneur by negotiating her own deal with Target, creating a fashion line inspired by vintage pop art. After cutting six records as an independent artist, Loren signed to Virgin Records in early 2018.
