The man, the myth, the legend, Lil Uzi Vert recently dropped a single titled “Futsal Shuffle 2020” off of his upcoming album, Eternal Atake.

Before the release of this song, Lil Uzi Vert was promoting it heavily on his social media. Uzi has been dropping singles all of 2019 with no real signs of the much-anticipated album Eternal Atake. He has told fans throughout the year he would release it eventually, so hopefully that means 2020!

Uzi first let fans know that this song would be the first single off the anticipated Eternal Atake album set to release very soon. The song is upbeat and is meant more for dancing even though the lyrics don’t match the song’s beat. Uzi is rapping about a female who he wants to “shoot his shot” through an Instagram DM, while also highlighting his riches.

With the song comes a shuffle dance that goes with it. Uzi has fans and even fellow rappers and other celebrities are tuning in on the dance challenge. On December 1st, Uzi posted the video of him doing the dance. While the dance does look quite hard, he assures fans it is easy… (but, not really). To help his fans learn the Futsal Shuffle, he made a list of the moves he does:

    1. Step out left

    2. Step out right

    3. Cancel out

    4. Repeat

    5. Don’t forget a lot of hand movement

It looks simple when you read the 5 steps, but it involves a lot of hand movements that many folks can’t seem to get right.

The song is hopefully the first single off Eternal Atake.  After a year of fighting to keep his music, Lil Uzi Vert seems to be back and having fun especially “Futsal Shuffle 2020.”
