Kin Faux’s recent #1 single in Texas, “Wild Horses”, will be available to over 40 million homes with the video premier on The Country Network next week.

The track, penned by Jim Beavers and Terry McBride, is featured on the seven-track project Honky Tonk in Heaven. This is the second video to be featured by TCN from the album, which premiered the band’s Plainview in summer of 2021.

“Wild Horses is a song that celebrates the untamed human spirit. Some people march to the beat of their own drum and forge their own lane, despite how the world around them would have them behave. Here’s to the wild ones!” says Kin Faux.

“I’ve been extremely fortunate to have my songs recorded by artists over the years and I’m always flattered when someone decides to record one of my tunes,” remarks Terry McBride.

This upbeat follow-up track highlights the band’s very own brand of Texas Red Dirt Country, which they call “Industrial Dirt”. It is sure to attract an audience looking for that unique take on the beloved traditional country genre.

Based in San Antonio, Texas, the group has already seen regional success opening for Kevin Fowler, Rick Trevino, & Neal McCoy gaining a reputation for dynamic standing room only shows. In addition, the title track to the album Honky Tonk in Heaven climbed all the way to #1 on the Texas Regional Radio Chart as well.
The video will air in the viewer’s time zone on The Country Network at the following times.

    Monday, February 21
    9:12 AM & 2:52 PM

    Tuesday, February 22

Kin Faux is a nationally touring, high-energy Texas/Red Dirt Country band whose influences like Charlie Daniels, Alabama and Restless Heart are displayed through their fiery fiddle playing and impeccable vocal harmonies.

The guys quickly established themselves as a “must-see” act garnering significant attention following the release of their self-titled EP in 2018. Hard-working, driven and not afraid of logging road miles, Kin Faux embarked on a series of tours across the Midwest and Texas earning praise from media and the industry.

“The Kin Faux live experience is a high energy, fiddle blazin’ show that will leave you wanting more. What you will experience at a Kin Faux show is a solid rhythm section providing a foundation for blistering guitar and fiddle solos.” – rockboxtheater.com

“Following in the footsteps of such great country bands as Restless Heart and Alabama, Texas based Kin Faux brings a new level of entertainment to both radio and the live music venues they perform at. With the energy of Chris LeDoux and Eagles’ tight harmony, Kin Faux is rapidly emerging as the next grassroots band in both Texas and other markets.

Their songs echo back to the richly missed style of 90s country. Rico Gonzalez on the fiddle is showmanship at its best. Kin Faux means like family and once hearing and seeing them you will quickly become a part of the Kin Faux Nation.” -Hit Songwriter Bernie Nelson (Conway Twitty, Ricky Van Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Wynonna, Colin Raye, Confederate Railroad, Chris Ledoux, Kris Kristofferson & John Anderson).
