Jinja – New RNB Artist Releases New Single “Speak Up”

Out on the 9th September, “Speak Up” is the first single from Jinja’s much anticipated debut EP, ‘Dream House FM’.

Unlike the dark, rich fantasy of her winter debut, “Speak Up” is a song of late summer essence, that is reminiscent of catchy RnB tracks such as those by Destiny’s Child, Lauryn Hill and Frank Ocean.

“Speak Up” is a love song dedicated to Jinja’s nearest and dearest, her best mates and in particular her boy-mates, imploring them to quite literally, “Speak Up” about their real emotions, as the singer cracks down on the fragility of toxic masculinity.

Featuring a verse from the singer’s real friend Ose, whose dark earthy tones compliment that of the twenty-one-year-old, the pair have accomplished more than just a charming conversation masked as a killer chorus.

This tune is a summer anthem that we can’t get out of our heads and will be blasting from car windows all September long.
