(New York, NY–November 29, 2018) — Singer, songwriter, and producer Jake Miller‘s latest single “Wait For You,” has hit over 250,000+ streams domestically and over 400,000+ streamsworldwide. Recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Miller, the track’s growing success is a testament to his fearless approach to production and songwriting, as well as his ability to push his own boundaries in the studio. Matched with his signature brand of pop, Jake uses heavier electronic influences on “Wait For You,” while the lyrics tackle the complexity of relationships.

“Wait For You is a song written about a situation someone I know was going through,” Jake explained in recent article. “It’s all about the right person, wrong time.”

Released by Sony’s RED MUSIC, “Wait For You” comes on the heels of what has been a busy year for Jake. This past March, he independently released his third full length LP Silver Lining, which followed his massive North American Hit & Run tour. Last night, Jake hosted a special sold-out birthday bash performance at New York’s Highline Ballroom. Next up, Jake will be headlining a number of radio shows across the country in support of “Wait For You,” with stops planned in Pittsburgh, PA, Covington, KY, and Nashville, TN (full details below).

Earlier this month, Miller launched a new merch store under his new deal with Sony’s The Thread Shop. Featuring a robust line of hoodies, long sleeve and short sleeve t-shirts, and a “Wait For You” lithograph poster, the store debuted on Black Friday and has since seen strong sales. Fans can check out the new products via Jake’s official web store at shop.jakemiller.com/store/.

Since 2012, Jake has continually evolved, surprising fans at every turn. His loyal audience dubbed “the Millertary” has supplied Miller with over 642K YouTube, close to 1 million Instagram, 600K Twitter, and over 1.1 million Facebook followers. By 2016, his breakout hit “First Flight Home” exceeded digital sales of 100,000, while “Dazed and Confused” (feat. Travie McCoy) has racked up over 19 million Spotify streams and counting. Along the way, he’s been featured by the likes MTV, People Magazine, USA Today, and Entertainment Weekly, who in 2016 spotlighted Jake in their “Breaking Big: 9 new artists to hear now” where he was dubbed a “must hear artist on the rise.”

Jake Miller has amassed over 110 million YouTube views, over 70 million streams and has performed alongside some of today’s most established recording artists including Mac Miller, Ariana Grande, Pharrell, Flo Rida, and Jason Derulo. His 2015 EP, Rumors, shot to #1 on iTunes Overall Top Albums Chart and saw him crisscross the globe. In 2016, Jake released his Overnight EP on Warner Bros. Records. The steamy music video for the EP’s first single “Overnight,” has racked up over 2.8 million views and featured Olympic Gold Medalist Simone Biles. In the summer of 2016, Jake toured with acclaimed, multi-award winning girl group Fifth Harmony. In 2017, Jake released his album, 2:00AM IN LA, which he wrote, produced and recorded by himself. The album made an impressive #1 debut on the iTunes Pop Album chart. This year, Jake released his most recent full length album Silver Lining.

“Wait For You” is available now through all digital retailers.
