Hailing from Brighton, rapper/producer Hatter brings a unique blend of energy and depth to his audience, both sonically and content wise. Hatter is being recognised for his versatile yet unmistakable sound.

Hatter has been performing on stage since a young age and has more recently shared the stage with the likes of Octavian, Etta Bond, The Purist Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and collaborating with the latter three. He has performed at Outlook Festival, The Great Escape, Boom Bap and Brighton Fringe Festival and has received support from BBC Introducing.

Working with his longtime friend and producer/DJ Saffa Ghorishi (Eyez, Olivia Louise, Steel Banglez) the two have been releasing music from their forthcoming project Beggars In The Palace which fuses areas of Rap, Hip Hop and Jazz – with a somewhat surrealist and creative drive behind the visual content of their releases.

Following on from the release of “So Many So Much” and “Upside Down,” “Check In,” is taken off of Beggars In The Palace and is currently Trickstar Radio’s Track Of The Week, Check In is accompanied by stunning visuals filmed out in Malta, speaking on the release Hatter says

“‘Check In’ is about capturing the feeling of anticipation before you catch a flight and go on holiday with your people. The carefree feeling of being in another country and living luxuriously. ‘Check In’ to me was about a purposeful change from the hard hitting singles with dark productions, myself and Saffa released previously and showcasing the other side of our forthcoming project. A more laid back, soulful sound. We made the track before going on holiday to Malta and to soundtrack other holidays we’re taking summer which very nearly got cancelled after losing my 12 month emergency passport and finding the day before the release. So the tune means something even more now!“

Hatter is making his way into the music industry by steadily booking shows, his next headline performance is in London at the renowned Chip Shop in Brixton, presented by Hear No Evil Management X The Carribean Kitchen.

Hatter is constantly releasing new music, proving himself as one to watch.
