Eighty Ninety Create An Ethereal Dreamscape In “Dream” Music Video

Brooklynite indie-pop duo Eighty Ninety return today to unveil the ethereal music video for their recent single, “Dream.” Drenched in a hazy dark purple hue, the video creates a minimalistic dreamscape that fits perfectly with the intoxicating single. We Found New Music premiered the “Dream” music video, praising it as “a perfect compliment to a song that glides so smoothly with a mellow melancholy.”

Based out of Brooklyn, New York, Eighty Ninety is the project of two brothers, Abner (vocals, production) and Harper (guitar, production) James. Their music fuses intimate storytelling, sticky melodies, and minimalist pop production, built on acoustic instruments and electronic sounds, in a style they like to call “808s and telecasters”.
Eighty Ninety’s debut single “Three Thirty” took off in ways the duo never imagined, quickly garnering over 16 million Spotify streams. They followed up the success with their highly praised debut EP Elizabeth.

Keeping the momentum alive, Brooklyn-based brothers, Eighty Ninety kicked off the year with their single “Your Favorite Song,” which was added to Taylor Swift’s much talked about “Songs Taylor Loves” Spotify playlist. The duo also played their first SXSW this year and were named breakout acts by both LADYGUNN and Indie Shuffle.  Eighty Ninety recently inked a deal with management company Hard 8 Working Group (home to Billie Eilish, The Ready Set, CYN) and will be releasing their sophomore EP this Fall.

Eighty Ninety’s unique twist on indie-pop is quickly catapulting the Brooklyn brothers on to the musical map.
