Nashville, TN – April 28, 2014 – Rising country star Carissa Leigh releases The Blackbird EP on iTunes!
The Blackbird EP, produced by Tone Def (Santana, Green Day) boasts four tracks including, “Bad Boy”, “Man Enough”, “Can’t Come Back From That” and “Losing You”.Carissa shares more on the songssaying, “‘Man Enough’ and “Bad Boy” are kind of more sassy and fun! Then “Can’t Come Back From That” really captured how I felt at the time that I wrote it!”
Carissa co-wrote all tracks on The Blackbird EP along with various other notable writers including, Clay Mills (Darius Rucker), Brian White (Trace Adkins, Rascal Flatts), Andrew Fromm (The Backstreet Boys, Nsync, Billy Gilman) and country singer JT Hodges. Talking about the EP, Carissa shares, “I’m excited for fans to hear some new music from me and see how I’ve progressed as both a writer and an artist.” Carissa is currently on a radio tour to promote her debut single “Bad Boy”.
