“By My Side” is performed by Yan Etchevary (The Way You Want Me – Lucky Rose) and MVNDEE. With a great concept in mind, the producer Di Raddo reached out to the two vocalists from Montreal. Co-written by Montreal’s Heartbeat, they have recently written for Canada’s Keshia Chanté and EDM DJ Mischa Daniels. Raphael, collaborated with Ghislain Brind’Amour (Karl Wolf, Icona Pop & Willy William) and Chase.wav (Quincy, Tayla Parx & Daley) for the mixing and arrangements of the original tropical pop tune.
Di Raddo had in mind to remix the track by different talented producers on this project such as: Houseparty, Dersed, SPare, Pakø, RealMind and Cristian Ferretti vs Nico Heinz, Max Kuhn & Fabio De Magistris. The single “By My Side” is available worldwide now under the label Higher Reign Music, and distributed by Sony Music Canada. Listen to “By My Side” here.
Raphael Di Raddo Productions is the brainchild of Raphael and longtime creative collaborator Music producer and engineer Ghislain Brind’Amour. They shared a vision of excellence in the music industry and have built up stellar reputations independently within their fields of expertise. They got the company started in 2016 by scouring the depths of their musical repertoires to bring together four compilations (Future Hits Vol. 1, Future Hits 2016, Future Hits Vol. 2 and a Christmas Compilation) featuring such acts as Karl Wolf, Lukay, Master P, Beau Flash and Claude Martel to name a few.
These compilations where used as a funnel to feed the 94.7 Hits FM Future Hits Radio Show in Montreal with over 45 songs from these compilations premiering on that show. With the infrastructure in place, Raphael and Ghislain decided to take a stab at pushing their own material.
Their first single “Take My Hand” released in early 2017 Featuring Star Academie singer Sarah May Vezeau and world music artist Woodly stormed up the radio charts in Quebec and made up to #13 on the English radio charts. The song continues to play on major radio stations in the province.
From there, Raphael and Ghislain started tackling A&R duties for Canadian distributor Higher Reign Music. In only 7 months their signings have amassed close to 1 million streams on Spotify alone.
In 2018 the production duo kept the ball rolling with their second single “By My Side” featuring Yan Etchevary and MVNDEE. The song is distributed by Higher Reign/Sony Music Canada. “By My Side” has cracked the top 5 on the Quebec English radio charts and is in the 100,000 streams club on Spotify.
Moving forward Raphael and Ghislain look to take their brand into different markets around the world. They will continue their A&R work and will be releasing new singles regularly.
