BANKS’ third album, III, has debuted to widespread critical acclaim – including four-star reviews in Rolling Stone and NME – and given the artist her highest-charting album to date. Available HERE, III (Harvest Records) was executive produced by BANKS and BJ Burton (Bon Iver, Francis and the Lights).

Rolling Stone said, “BANKS pushes her sound into strange, scary, gorgeous new places.” Noted NME, “Banks has created another supremely intriguing musical world; one filled with ear-snagging lyrics and quirky production flourishes.” Pitchfork hailed III as “her best album to date.” TIME Magazine observed, “she explores pain, desire and personal growth, mixing vulnerable songwriting with experimental and genre-blending production.” The Observer awarded III a five-star review, calling it BANKS’ “most impressive album yet.”

Harper’s BAZAAR said, “With the release of her third album, III, BANKS is fully embracing her femininity and her strength.” Consequence Of Sound observed, “The alt-R&B artist discovers a newfound maturity in duality.” V Magazine noted, “Banks retains her bite while sounding somewhat brighter, perhaps more open to love…”

BANKS discusses the new album in feature articles running in TIME Magazine, Harper’s BAZAAR, Vanity Fair, V Magazine and elsewhere. III is her highest-charting album to date on Billboard’s Top Album Sales tally, debuting at No. 3. It came in at No. 1 on the Internet Albums tally, No. 2 on the Current Alternative Albums and Current Pop Albums charts and No. 9 on the Digital Albums chart.

She’ll support the album with an extensive headline tour, which kicks off on September 3 at REBEL in Toronto. The III Tour will include two sold-out shows at Brooklyn Steel (with a third night on sale now) and an October 1 concert at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Tickets and VIP packages are on sale now. BANKS will also perform at such festivals as Music Midtown in Atlanta, Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas and Austin City Limits. See below for full list of North American/UK/EU dates, additional headline shows will be announced next week.

BANKS has attained 1.3 billion global streams to date across all of her songs, including over 615 million cumulative streams in the U.S. alone. After the release of her breakout debut album, Goddess, she became the world’s most blogged about artist.

The 2014 album included the RIAA-certified Platinum hit “Beggin For Thread” and the Gold single “Waiting Game.” The Altar, released in 2016, debuted in the Top 10 in over 30 countries on iTunes. BANKS has performed on such television shows as “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “Late Show with David Letterman.” Her songs have been heard in films (Divergent, The Longest Ride) and licensed by such television shows as “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Power.”
