Photo credit: Steve Keros Luke Temple, the acclaimed songwriter behind Here We Go Magic and Art Feynman, has announced his new album Both-And, due out September 13 on Native Cat Recordings. The record is his first solo work since 2016’s A Hand Through the Cellar Door and his first since relocating from New York to Northern California’s Marin County, a landscape that inspired his new songs. Stereogum announced the album today and premiered its lead single “Wounded Brightness,” writing, “‘Wounded Brightness’ unravels delicately, evoking bucolic bliss. Dutch DJ and producer Bakermat has announced his ‘Under The Sun’ tour of North America. Kicking off at the Great Northern in San Francisco on September 6, the idiosyncratic artist will play ten dates in total, across 15 days. After San Francisco, he heads to LA to play The Roxy Theatre the following night, before Denver’s Bar Standard on the 11th, Seattle’s Neumes on the 12th, Brooklyn’s Kings Hall on the 13th and Toronto’s Noir on the 14th.
