June 13, 2019 – Los Angeles, CA – Today, Sure Sure have released their new single, “Sedona”.Stream here: https://suresure.lnk.to/sedona. The song, which was written after the band’s first-ever tour in 2018, features an infectious R&B-inspired groove, lush harmonies and direct lyrics about post-tour social fatigue. The band explains, “‘Sedona’ is about when you get back from tour, having been constantly surrounded by people every night, and all you want is to be alone, cancel plans and loaf.” The track is lifted from the band’s upcoming EP, What’s It Like?, due out 6/27 via Kobalt AWAL+. The highly prolific group has been releasing music since 2014 and has alreadyamassed over 30 million combined streams.

In addition to receiving praise for their songwriting and production skills, Sure Sure have played over 150 shows in the past two years, sharing the stage with artists such as Young The Giant, Hippo Campus and Rainbow Kitten Surprise. The group’s self-produced music and infectious live shows have quickly solidified them as one of the most exciting up-and-coming bands out of Southern California.

With a sound self- described as a mix between Steely Dan and the Talking Heads, Sure Sure have achieved multiple number ones on the Hype Machine charts and garnered praise from Grizzly Bear, Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend and other key players of the indie musiccommunity. This summer finds the band releasing a new EP, What’s It Like?, which draws on a wide range of influences such as Drake (“Warm Animal”), Elton John & Frank Ocean (“Good Thing”) and D’Angelo (“Sedona”).

The title track and previous single “What’s It Like?” is currently in rotation on SiriusXM Alt Nation and The Pulse and has been added to over 10 Spotify Editorial Playlists including New Music Friday, All New Indie, Alternative Generation, Indie Alternative Everything, Feel Good Indie Rock and more. Following the release, Sure Sure will play a selectset of dates before locking the door on their house/studio to record more new music.
