The elusive genre-defying duo Darci return today with their new single, “Won’t,” out on November 14th via Taste & Tone (Atlantic Records). Fusing hard-hitting bass lines, catchy melodies, and energized synth patterns, “Won’t” is another mesmerizing addition to Darci’s quickly growing repertoire.

Ones To Watch premiered “Won’t” yesterday, describing it as a “downtempo gem.” Diving into the poignant meaning behind the new single, Ones To Watch notes, “‘Won’t‘ focuses on being present as opposed to being plugged in all the time and reflects on personal connectivity and the loneliness of the social media age. Though it’s easy to feel bogged down by the pressures of real life, a life on Instagram can feel a lot more empty.”

Darci emerged in early 2017 with their unique blend of R&B, new wave hip-hop, dance beats, and left-of-center indie-pop. Without giving much away about who they are, Darci have managed to amass over 20 million cumulative streams and strong praise from key tastemakers Pigeons & Planes, Complex, Ones To Watch, and Run The Trap, among others.

After a successful debut year, Darci were recently signed to UTA, leading to an opening slot with Lil Xan and festival performances at HARD Summer, Mamby On The Beach and 515. This New Years Eve they will be performing at the legendary Lake Tahoe festival, SnowGlobe.
