FALCONS and B. LEWIS just released DAYDRIFT, their joint 5-track EP, out today on EMPIRE. Falcons’ versatility and ability to work with different artists while maintaining his own upbeat flavor is what caught the attention of the label and the duo has released two well received singles–“Fantasy” featuring Bay Area rapper P-Lo and “Waterworld” featuring GoldLink and Jazz Cartier. Falcons–the Los Angeles-based producer and DJ who has made a name for himself with his unique sound and previous collaborations with Young Thug, BlocBoy JB, Rich Brian, A-Trak, Ekali & more–first met B. Lewis in the early Soundcloud days and then were booked on the same night for the legendary, now-defunct Los Angeles party, Low End Theory. Falcons notes, “We immediately knew we’d be friends and just kept up over the years. In 2017, we decided to come together for a one-off collaboration track but we quickly realized we worked really well together and needed to do more. The result is DAYDRIFT.”

Making songs that straddle the line between underground club anthems and radio-ready originals, Falcons’ last full project, Terra EP, released on Fools Gold, received praise from outlets like The Fader, i-D, Hypebeast, MixMag, Complex and more. He has taken his live show to stages across North America, Asia, Europe and Australia with standout performances at Boiler Room and Coachella to name a few. While also having performed supporting Travis Scott, Metro Boomin, Kaytranada, Snakehips and his music has been featured hit shows including HBO’s Insecure, Starz’s Power and Comedy Central’s Broad City.

San Jose, CA-based B. Lewis has been making music for the better part of a decade, having produced for Chris Brown and K. Flay amongst others. The first track he released with his vocals–2017’s “Strange Things”–has gone on to be streamed well over a million times.
