Fresh off a HARD Summer performance with fellow Moving Castle co-founder Manila Killa, AOBeats and Robokid unveil the official music video for their vibrant new single, “Sunny.”

2018 has already been a momentous year for Ethan Budnick aka Robokid. The producer-DJ-remixer turned singer-songwriter released his debut EP Apart earlier this year, headlined Broke LA Music & Arts Festival, and has continued to unveil a string of dynamic releases, such as “DEAD2ME” and “Fishing Lessons.”

For his latest offering, “Sunny,” Robokid teamed up with his good friend and fellow Moving Castle co-founder, AOBeats. Born Andrew Okamura, AOBeats has also had quite the year with the release of his ‘Pilot’ EP, which featured many of his frequent collaborators, such as Manila Killa, Mark Johns, Robokid, Annabel Jones, SAKIMA, SATICA, Madi, Blaise & Yung Skrrt.

The playful, fun-loving “Sunny” video fits quite perfectly with the summertime anthem. In conversation with Billboard Pride – who premiered the single – Robokid explains, “This song is kind of about the safety of being in your own bubble. Sometimes it’s good to escape that. A lot of the songs I write are pretty funny and ironic. I didn’t really think that would be my writing style, but it’s been very natural.”
