Los Angeles, CA (June 6, 2018) – Alt-pop independent artist Josephina’s debut self-titled EP is available now across streaming platforms – listen HERE. Tracks “Miles On Miles” + “Money on Your Mind” both feature production from GRAMMY® Award-winning R&B/hip-hop/dance production team, The Stereotypes. Adding to the excitement, PopDust exclusively premiered the music video for “Miles On Miles” yesterday to rave review.

“Miles On Miles,” is yet another hypnotic track from the singer/songwriter that showcases her distinct raspy, alt/pop style and is a stunning result of a studio session between Josephina and The Stereotypes. The GRAMMY® award-winning team co-wrote and produced the track. The gorgeous video was filmed in the breathtaking Vasquez Rocks and follows Josephina as she begins to feel the distance between herself and her partner and realizes a breakup may be on the horizon. Dreamy shots, directed by Truman Kewley, showcase Josephina reflecting in her surroundings and posing in a retro car accompany the catchy track.

Josephina’s two previously released tracks “Feelings” and “Pleasure & Pain” will also make an appearance on her EP.  Featured in EARMILK and Ones To Watch, both songs have established Josephina as an artist on the rise. Earning the title, Josephina released her video for “Feelings” which now boasts over 100K views, and gained 30K of those views in the first week of its release.

    Listen to Josephina here.

“I am so excited for this EP,” shares Josephina. “It’s a taste of what’s to come and really showcases my styles of writing. Each song tells a different story. I’m so thankful for everyone who came together for this to happen and I am so excited for all my supporters and the world to hear it.”

    About Josephina:

Josephina is an alt-pop singer living in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in Virginia Beach, raised by a Cuban mother and British father, Josephina discovered her passion for music as a little kid. At age 16, she took her singing talents to social media, partly inspired by a previous fascination with YouTube cover artists. Soon after she’d begun posting her covers of tracks by artists like Frank Ocean and Foster the People, Josephina gained a major following, and eventually earned the attention of management and production companies across the country. The artist has had a busy year releasing her first two songs, “Pleasure and Pain” and “Feelings”. Josephina’s five-track debut EP, which combines her playful lyricism with an electro-pop sensibility is available now.
