Nashville, Tenn. (May 11, 2018) – Rising pop songstress Fleurie releases her stellar new single, “Constellate,” today (5/11) across all streaming platforms following an exclusive first listen with The New Nine. The dreamy track gracefully captures the promise of new beginnings, and the possibility of transformation. With her ethereal vocals and intimate lyrics, Fleurie makes music that’s both otherworldly and rooted in raw emotion.

    “Constellate” is available here.

With her newest single “Constellate,” Fleurie offers fans a new era of music from Fleurieland, her label name which was inspired by fans’ affectionate love for the “other universe” her music seems to emerge from. Co-produced by Fleurie (musical moniker of Nashville-based Lauren Strahm) and her longtime friend and keyboard player Justin Amundrud, “Constellate” arrives as the first single from Fleurie’s forthcoming full-length debut album which is expected later this year.

“Last February I got together to write with Justin for the first time, and the result was magic. He started playing the strings/synth patch that runs throughout “Constellate” and I heard all these melodies and lyrics instantly,” says Fleurie. “In my mind, I saw a vision of all these people coming up from shelters underground after a big storm, it felt like a metaphor for what the last couple of years have been like for a lot of people in the world, for many different reasons. I knew I had to write a song to encourage all of our hearts to believe that we have it within us to do more than just survive…that we could truly live, hope and dream again, and be the ones who create a world where light blazes through the darkness.”
