Left Astray is reminiscent of songs heard in the grunge era that flourished in the late 80s and early 90s. The combination of Hazy’s uniquely raspy vocals, melancholic lyricism, and acoustic guitar dominating the background takes you back to a time when flannel and denim were the preferred fashion choice. Getting lost in Hazy’s effortless vocals and sorrowful yet realistic lyrics evoke feelings of nostalgia and longing.
