“More” is a stunning declaration of gratitude for the profound comfort and support of Jesus through hardship.

Christian singer-songwriter Katy Weirich follows up on her previous release, “Majestic One,” with her newest worship single, “More,” out today. Weirich pours her soul into every lyric she sings on this track, revealing the pain she encountered in her experience with postpartum anxiety and depression.

The songstress’ pristine, masterfully crafted vocal shines brightly on this track atop the all encompassing soundscape contributed by multi Grammy Award winning producer, Tedd T.. Ambient synths embellished with punchy percussion and whimsical keys serve as the foundation for this track, while Weirich’s angelic background vocals caress the melody in weightless harmony.

“The lyrics from “More” are some of my favorites off the upcoming EP because they are truths that have anchored and continue to anchor me.” – Katy Weirich

Weirich began writing this project as she moved out of her second – and most debilitating – bout of postpartum depression. She found herself stricken with inspiration in a moment where the assurance and resilience of God’s love was especially clear. While doing the dishes one morning, she sang the chorus of “More” out loud in a prayer.

For Weirich, this track is a statement of the profound, everlasting love Jesus has for his children. It beautifully embodies the sentiment of Romans 8:38-39: “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Weirich shows fans a deeper look into the stories that inspired her upcoming Spring 2022 EP, Out Of The Blue, with this single.
