BUFFALO, NY – Thursday, March 10th, Howlin’ at the Tralf presents Boston Music Award-winning boogie blues band Erin Harpe & the Delta Swingers at the Tralf Music Hall! Erin celebrates the release of her new album, MEET ME IN THE MIDDLE – the New England Music Awards’ 2021 “Album of the Year”! Local blues/roots rockers Rockabilly Steve & BR3 complete the bill for what promises to be a fantastic night of “Boogie, Blues & Beyond”!

New England “Blues Artist of the Year” winners Erin Harpe & the Delta Swingers play an irresistible mix of genres dubbed “Boogie, Blues & Beyond” – an electrifying original sound that takes the crowd from the delta to the dancefloor – mixing in funk, soul and reggae swing!

The 4-piece band features bandleader Erin Harpe on vocals, electric guitars and kazoo (that’s right!), backed by her husband Jim Countryman on bass and vocals, Shawn Meehan on drums, and Jason Novak on harmonica.

“Erin Harpe has a timeless quality about her. Maybe it is her signature look with a flower in her hair and the fishnet stockings, a look that would have worked in any decade over the past century. Or maybe it is her virtuoso finger picking guitar style or the way she can play the slide guitar like some of the recent greats such as Bonnie Raitt or Rory Block. Or maybe it is her beautiful singing voice, especially when she is covering the old-time blues music of Memphis Minnie or Sippie Wallace with a confidence and sass that might remind you of Maria Muldaur. Her style is both endearing and enduring.” –Sound Waves Magazine

Tralf Music Hall presents HOWLIN’ AT THE TRALF, a collection of concerts showcasing Roots, Soul, R&B, and Blues artists from across North America. 622 Main St., Buffalo, NY. 8pm, 21+.
