“Stars” is a feel-good record about when love truly feels special.

“We had this very 90/00s hip-hop beat that Georgie (Christer George) originally produced for another song of mine, but after listening to the track a few times it inspired me to write something completely different. I was so in love at the time and I wanted the song to reflect what I was feeling in that exact moment. 30 minutes later it was finished. It was meant to be,” says Wilhelmina.

Together with the upbeat song, a 15-second long animation is released. The Swedish/ Norwegian singer/songwriter partnered up with American animator and draw artist, Richydraws, to create the video, starring Wilhelmina herself as she explores the galaxy and walks across the milky way.

“I have always loved the Sailor Moon series, so when the world was forced into quarantine and I wasn´t able to create content as planned, it was a great opportunity for me to walk in her shoes. I loved working with Richy. He is so talented and passionate and really went the extra mile to make it perfect.” Wilhelmina says.

“Stars” is available on all major streaming platforms! Listen to “Stars” by Wilhelmina here.
