Dai Burger will crush you. No games, not an abundance of foreplay, she’ll put in quick work. She joins a growing push of female MC’s unwilling to be hindered or slowed down, without the capacity for failure.

While Cardi flipped the petty queendom, empowerment, and Lil Kim-isms of Nicki Minaj into a blunt weapon, with the likes of Lizzo and Cupcakke running the positivity show, Dai Burger is here with a wit to match them all, and a lot less patience. Working a convulsive beat that practically recoils only to snap back into focus, Dai takes a little time to honor herself, boasting about her “food porn”, her irresistible “Vitamin P,” featuring Baja Frequencia.

Burger doesn’t leave much mystery around the title within the track, and just in case she had, kindly left these words with us: “P for p*ssy, power, pride, and prestige.

Ever since her 2017 debut LP, Soft Serve, Dai Burger has been surging forward. Following the success of her stomp of a single, “Salty,” Burger revealed plans for her sophomore album, the appropriately titled Bite the Burger. Due December 6th, “Vitamin P” serves as another empowering tease from the awaited LP.

“Probably be a crisis if you step in my hood.” Wouldn’t chance it.
