Today, Queens, NY rapper Dai Burger returns with a new single, “Salty,” and announces her upcoming sophomore LP, ‘Bite The Burger’ (due December 6th). The empowering hard-hitter opens with sirens before Dai tosses her New York accent like a knife on the memorable refrain “I got the recipe, you too salty / I tell a mothaf*cka hater back off me.”

Dai says about the track, “’Salty’ is for the ones who love comparing me to every other rap chick. But there’s really no comparison because I created the recipe. I want everyone to strive to be themselves, authentic, and not let haters box you in. They just salty.”

“Salty” is Dai Burger’s first release since her 2017 debut LP, ‘Soft Serve,’ which earned praise from Billboard, Highsnobiety, i-D, Uproxx, and Hypebeast. Across nine-tracks, she combines the unapologetic bite of 2000s hip-hop with the lightheartedness of ’70s Gogo. Like the treat, it’s a summertime classic.

The psychedelic rap diva got her start as a back-up dancer for Lil Mama before launching her career with the independently-released 2010 project MyMixxxytape. Three mixtapes, an EP, and an LP later, she’s sharpened her fiery flows into a poppy style that never loses its edge.
