Rising soul-pop singer-songwriter Gabriela Eva, is poised to announce her brand new track with the arrival of ‘HEY!’ and will be accompanied by a stunningly shot visual, once again portraying her emotive charm and elegant fragility.

Drawing on a myriad of influences ranging from pop, jazz, soul and folk, ‘HEY!’ embodies a sophisticated jazz-soul catchy track with folk influences. She says: “I wrote HEY! in my mums living room sitting on a snug rug by the fire in Colchester…I always write easily at home.  The chord progression came first, I’ve been writing on my electric guitar for a few years now and love the process.  It’s one of those songs that just feels so good to play live and is easy to relate too.  I took it to Riverfish Music and Joe and I brought it to life.  I’m glad to have a sick bass line of his on there.  Working with Joe in the studio is a dream, you can see the sea from the studio and breath in the fresh air…Joe did an alternative mix, which is just pure vibes and inspired by Frankie Knuckles, I can’t wait to see people dancing to it.”

HEY! follows Gabriela Eva’s self released, 2018 debut EP ‘RISE UP’ and standout single ‘Sailing Over The City’, played on BBC6 Music by Gilles Peterson, along with live performances on BBC Radio London with Robert Elms and BBC Introducing (Essex) with Ollie Winiberg.

Moving from her Essex bound life to rebirth in the neo-soul / nu-jazz & electronic pop awareness, Gabriela Eva’s futurist aesthetics are forever evolving, binding her sound around urban locks. Drawing inspiration from individuals such as, Lianne La Havas, Bonobo and Hiatus Kaiyote, Gabriela Eva has a real electronic spark in her Soul/Jazz tones and gives an unapologetic live performance, while a rainbow punk attitude appears as she shares her sounds.

Inspired by powerful female artists & role models from the 90’s, Gabriela Eva’s writing speaks of today’s diverse & conscious musical tastes with a sound that traverses genres, creating a unique & contemporary sound.
