MARLOE.’s Unique Sound Unveiled With New Single “Ruminate”

Queensland native MARLOE. began her music journey at nine years old singing in her elementary choir. Like many young artists, MARLOE. began performing on-stage wherever she could; from her living room in Brisbane, Australia all the way to the Musical Theatre program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy located in Manhattan, New York. During her time in New York, She performed in many short films and theatre productions which forged the foundation to begin her Pop career.

Music has always been at the core of MARLOE.’s inner being. “My passion for singing had always been at the center of heart. I can recall from my childhood crying at concerts because the music explained what I simply could not,” says MARLOE. Her Debut EP was a good starting point for the young pop singer. Songs like “The Future Is Now” and “The Day I Knew I Needed You” received raving reviews from one of Australia’s biggest radio stations Triple J and notable publications like Elicit Magazine and Music Talks comparing her to artist like Vera Blue, Maggie Rogers, and LORDE.

Since the debut of her EP she has been working closely with multi-gold producer Konstantin Kersting on her next captivating song “Ruminate.” This song mixes the unique production style of Konstantin, vulnerable lyrics MARLOE. is known for, and splashes of electronica with lush, soaring vocals and beat-driven melodies. “Ruminate” is one of those songs that will have you either dancing in the car with some of your closest friends or having you thinking of closely held memories of a relationship.
