Australia-based alt-pop artist Ben Hazlewood releases his new song “Louder Than Thunder” today along with the official video – watch HERE.

The song and video premiered on Pride.com yesterday, June 27 – read the exclusive HERE.

The new song holds a special significance to Ben. He wrote the song for his husband ahead of their 2018 wedding and performed it for the first time on their special day. The official video for “Louder Than Thunder” showcases several different visuals, including shots of Ben jamming out to the song with his band.

Ben shared exclusively with Pride.com, “I sat down to write my vows and everything that I hoped for us, for our lives together.  I turned those thoughts, ideas and dreams into a song dedicated to the one I love.”

Ben Hazlewood is an anthemic alt-pop artist based in Melbourne. With an artist father and a mother who owned a dance studio, Ben’s creative journey seemed to be written in the stars. After training as a professional dancer in his mother’s studio, Ben felt that music was the path he needed to take. He moved to London and joined a three-piece band called “The Scheme.” After the band disbanded, Hazlewood became a member of Joel Madden’s team on Australia’s inaugural season of The Voice and kicked off his solo music career.

With two EPs and an album under his belt, Ben has been hard at work, writing music alongside New Zealand artist, Gin Wigmore. In 2018, he released three songs, included “Months & Miles” which was featured in Billboard. Ben has been hard at work in 2019, releasing three songs, including “Grave Relief,” which is arguably his most personal song to date.

His new song “Louder Than Thunder” is out now. Ben boasts over 1M views on YouTube, and has been featured in Popdust, Huffington Post, and The Advocate.
