Three-piece Pennslyvania modern rock band The Standby has officially dropped their latest music video for single “Drawing Out The Hurt” via Dreambound.

The band delivers a huge soundscape that is both highly energetic and tragically somber, creating a pallet that any alternative music fan can easily take from and enjoy. The band fuses elements of some of the scene’s most cherished classics (Thrice, Thursday) with more modern stylings reminiscent of some of today’s newer powerhouses (Casey, Movements, Can’t Swim) to form a perfect storm of genre-bending. This has made the Erie, Pennsylvania based emo-alternative trio already a rising favorite, deemed “hometown heroes” by the Erie Reader. The single is available across all streaming platforms Friday, with pre-save links here.

Pre Order merch bundles for the EP will be available until August 12, the large bundle is $65 + shipping, the small bundle is $25.00 + shipping.
