South East London’s Laolu creates music which is intrinsically human at its core, returning with her late night groove “Indulge”. It’s smooth and sensual, showcasing her rich vocal prowess.

Born to Nigerian parents, Laolu began writing her own music after graduating in Commercial Music Performance, using her craft as a form of spiritual healing. “Indulge” is filled with stuttering drum patterns and silky smooth vocals, articulating lust and desire with refreshing honesty.

“It’s about having a relationship with someone that is almost forbidden. You know the person is no good but you are craving them because of how they make you feel when you’re together. For me it’s about letting go of my inhibitions and just allowing myself to delve into what I want with who I want, stepping into my womanhood and my sensual side”.
