Weathers have released their new single “Teeth” along with an official lyric video via Big Machine Rock.
The Southern California alternative rock band says the track explores the darker side of celebrity crushes and parasocial relationships. The band explained that the song takes the familiar idea of wondering what it would be like to meet a celebrity and pushes it into a more possessive, unsettling direction.
“‘Teeth’ is one of the most interesting songs we’ve ever written, not because it’s necessarily honest or deep and vulnerable, but actually because it was inspired by my celebrity crush.”
“Teeth” follows the band’s recent releases “Happy Pillz (Higher Dose)” and “Antidote.”
