November 16, 2018 – Hollywood, CA – Today, The Greeting Committee announce 2019 U.S. tour dates supporting Arkells. This will be the first full tour for the band since releasing their debut full-length album This Is It [Harvest Records].

Kicking off February 21 in Buffalo, NY, the run will bring The Greeting Committee from coast to coast, hitting iconic venues like Irving Plaza in New York City on February 26. Full routing can be found below, and tickets are available HERE. Fans can expect to hear songs from the band’s new album in the set, ranging from the upbeat single “Don’t Go” to the emotional fan-favorite “Birthday Song.”

In celebration of the album’s release, The Greeting Committee played two special sold-out shows last week. Both shows were mile-markers for the band: their first-ever Los Angeles headline show at The Mint, and their largest headline show to date in their hometown of Kansas City at The Truman. With a capacity of 1,275, tickets for the Kansas City show sold out months in advance – check out a clip the band shared from the performance HERE. While in town, they also performed live for The Kansas City Star’s“Star Sessions” – WATCH HERE.

This Is It arrives as a follow up to the band’s two EPs, It’s Not All That Bad [2015] and Meeting People Is Easy [2017]. Before even releasing a full-length album, The Greeting Committee amassed over 18.5 million combined global streams. The four-piece continues to attract critical praise from the likes of NYLON, Idolator, Ones To Watch, AXS, and Rookie, who recently shared a heartfelt essay for Pride Month written by frontwomanAddie Sartino called “The Ways I Wear My Pride.” They’ve emerged as “a band to watch” for 2018 and beyond.
