Nashville, Tenn. (June 22, 2018) – Rising pop songstress Fleurie releases her dazzling new single, “Chasing Stars,” today (6/22) across all streaming platforms following an exclusive premiere with PopDust. Adding to the excitement, Fleurie (musical moniker of Lauren Strahm) has announced her new album, Portals, set to be released on August 17, 2018 on Fleurieland Records.

“Chasing Stars” is available here.

“This song captures being young and wildly free to dream and hope and let go,” says Fleurie, “even if just for one night.”

The dreamy track uses airy drum synths and carries on with the singer’s sweet voice. Co-produced by Fleurie and Justin Amundrud, “Chasing Stars” is a track about letting go of everything for the night and driving around with friends just to get away. “Chasing Stars” is the second taste of what’s to come from Fleurie following the release of her ethereal track “Constellate.” Fleurie offers fans a deeper look into the new era of music from Fleurieland, her label name, which was inspired by fans’ affectionate love for the “other universe” her music seems to emerge from.
