Boston, MA (September 2, 2022) – Today, Boston based hip-hop artist and producer Baby Cate, shared her first single, “SLEEP” from her upcoming project dropping later this year.

Written and produced by the independent artist, the track is all about the perils of waking up too early from one of the best dreams you’ve ever had. “This has happened too many times that I could count,” Cate explained. “You’re about to get to the good part of a dream, and then F*CK, you’re awake.”

The music video, shows a different way of how you could tell the story of the track. “I found videos from ‘boomshadowace’ on TikTok and thought ‘damn this would be a great visual for this song.’ I hit him up and was shocked he agreed to do it because of the following he has.”

“SLEEP” is the first single Cate has dropped in 2022, following her ‘UFO’ EP in late 2021.
