Last week indie-pop artist Gus Dapperton kicked off his sold out North American tour and shared a short film for his newest single “World Class Cinema”. The video, co-directed with his longtime collaborator Matthew Dillon Cohen, takes the standard music video format and transformed it into a cinematic escape, with Dapperton portraying several iconic film moments throughout the short film. They also made sure to showcase Gus’s signature dance moves, while Bria Vanaite, from the indie breakout film “The Florida Project”, makes a memorable appearance at the end of the video. Seattle trio Weep Wave are gearing up to release their debut album Seasonal Affective Disorder on January 11, 2019, which has been a long time in the making. New Single “Welcome Home” takes on the feelings and effects of months on months of overcast skies.
