Irish composer Alex Dowling today shared new single and video “King of Thumbs” from his forthcoming debut album Reality Rounds, due out January 31st, 2020 via Carrier Records. Reality Rounds was written for four vocalists (who each use customized wireless controllers to manipulate their AutoTuned voices in real-time) and synthesizer (performed by Grammy-nominated composer/pianist Pascal Le Bouef). The album was recorded and filmed live, and in full, at Princeton University by Four/Ten Media. Lil Big Man was released on March 15th of 2019. Building on the grass roots momentum Maxo…

Dumpweed? Like, the blink-182 song? You bet your ass. Although the NJ quartet is rooted in pop punk, their new single “Commitment Is A Dirty Word” injects a darker throwback AFI vibe, complete with mysterious imagery and lightning-fast melodies. The official music video was released today along with their third record The Golden Snake. “‘Commitment is a Dirty Word’ is a battle between a mother and father dealing with the pain they’ve caused each other,” says vocalist Eric Palermo. “It’s destructive and chaotic and it shows the domestic struggles many married couples have. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, people mistreat…
