Aquilo today release a live EP of songs from their second album ii, recorded from Rak Studios in Maida Vale. The new versions of “Thin, “Now & Here,” “Seagull” and “Six Feet Over Ground” are also accompanied by videos of Aquilo performing the tracks at Rak Studios, and are available to watch and download now, see links below. The release comes ahead of the duo’s performance at Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco on August 12.

Aquilo’s second album ii was released earlier this year in two parts, delighting fans across the world who have followed their progress since they were producing tracks in their bedrooms. The “mesmerizing” (Sunday Times Culture) ii includes earlier singles “Thin” and “Seagull,” as well as “The Road Less Wandered,” a co-write with the “super-talented” (NME) Bruno Major who also joins Aquilo to play guitar on the track. With two hundred million streams globally, two sold-out nights at the Courtyard Theatre in London, and twelve million VEVO views, Aquilo have already made huge waves in 2018 and continue to prove themselves as influential innovators in the streaming age.

    Live EP tracklist:

    • Thin (Live From Rak Studios)
    • Now & Here (Live From Rak Studios)
    • Seagull (Live From Rak Studios)
    • Six Feet Over Ground (Live From Rak Studios)

    Aquilo North American Live Dates:

    • August 12 Outside Lands San Francisco, CA

    About Aquilo:

Hailing from the Lake District, Tom Higham and Ben Fletcher first introduced themselves back in 2014 with their larger than life cinematic sound, and have since released four EPs and debut album Silhouettes; produced by highly regarded Icelandic producer Ólafur Arnalds and the ever brilliant SOHN. With much critical praise, solid radio support and over two million monthly Spotify listeners, Aquilo are fast cementing themselves as one of the most exciting new prospects in pop.
