The brilliantly bold and bright visual intercuts high energy performance footage of the buzzing Los Angeles alternative rock band with gorgeous vignettes of the ocean. As the lyrics and music unfurl, a gripping narrative takes center stage. The clip mirrors the push-and-pull of the track from its sweeping refrain to propulsive rhythms punctuated by neon keys and fuzzed-up guitars. The song is available on the group’s brand new EP—Human Condition Part 1 [Virgin Records]— out now.
Over the past two weeks, the trio’s contribution to NETFLIX’s 13 Reasons Why: Original Series Soundtrack, “Tangled Up”, has already clocked over 1.5 million Spotify streams worldwide. It also earned a coveted spot on Spotify’s Indie Pop Playlist where it continues to generate attention.
