Fleurie Releases Animated Music Video For "Constellate"

Nashville, Tenn. (May 30, 2018) – Rising pop songstress FLEURIE releases out of this world animated video for her dreamy single “Constellate,” today (5/30) following the exclusive premiere with Live Nation’s music blog ONES TO WATCH.

The animated video is a short film by Nashville based animator, Trea Bailey with CG modeling done by Cary Graham. Bailey’s most recent credit includes the Blake Shelton “Doin It (to Country Songs)” video under director Michael Lapinski at Magnetic Dreams Animation Studio. He also looks to mentor John Pomeroy (Disney) who he currently does assisting work for.

“Shortly after the song was written, my friend (and amazing animator) Trea Bailey was hanging out at the studio with us and we played the demo for him,” says Fleurie. “ He asked if he could animate a video for it, and I said ‘yes, if I can write the story!’ and the rest is history.” She goes on to share that “Being depicted as a cartoon character of myself was thrilling and wild! Even in an age where technology seems to keep us connected, true love craves, seeks, demands real face-to-face intimacy. And true love has always been the vehicle that brings light into the dark places. That’s the story we wanted to tell through these characters and their long-distance predicament.”

With her newest single “Constellate,” Fleurie offers fans a new era of music from Fleurieland, her label name which was inspired by fans’ affectionate love for the “other universe” her music seems to emerge from. Co-produced by Fleurie (musical moniker of Nashville-based Lauren Strahm) and her longtime friend and keyboard player Justin Amundrud, “Constellate” arrives as the first single from Fleurie’s forthcoming full-length debut album which is expected later this year.
