LOS ANGELES (June 1, 2023) – Sheer Element, the bold new trio most recently seen on this season of NBC’s hit show, The Voice, and coached by Kelly Clarkson, just released their first original single, “What I Want”.

Sheer Element blends infectious pop melodies, and smooth R&B harmonies into something
entirely new. Their sound is always a captivating performance that is impossible to ignore. The single is now available on all streaming platforms and can be found here.

The song was produced by Rico Love, Grammy award nominated songwriter/producer and Vice
Chairman of the Grammys. Rico has produced hits for artists such as Beyonce, Usher, Nelly, Kelly Rowland, Diddy, Chris Brown & many more. Sheer Element will continue to release singles over the summer with their debut EP releasing this September. Now, as they continue to ride a wave of momentum, Sheer Element is on the brink of worldwide stardom.

Says Sheer Element about the single, “It feels amazing to finally be able to release our first original song after months of preparation. Working with Rico Love on this record was surreal. His creative mind astounds us and we’re so blessed to be able to work with him. We are so excited for our fans to finally hear the song and are eager for them to hear our other releases throughout the summer.”

A diverse group of supremely talented friends, they have already attracted a dedicated legion of fans and built up an impressive online presence with millions of views on their social media videos. The group’s three members, Izzy Kaye, Tabon Ward, and Jej Vinson, met while studying at The University of Southern California. After an impromptu cover of Ariana Grande’s ‘Only 1’ went viral (1.2 million views), they realized they had something special and decided to dedicate themselves to making music together.
