Marc Ambrosia’s highly praised 2019 studio album, Unleashed is getting a deluxe-reissue on February 21, 2020 when a 23 track version of the album will be released as a digital exclusive.
The new reissue, arriving on Ambrosia’s 25th birthday, will be available on Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon, and all other online music retailers. Unleashed: Deluxe Edition will contain the original 11 track album in it’s entirety, along with 12 previously unreleased tracks comprised of outtakes, alternate mixes, demos, early versions, and remixes.
Beginning January 1, fans can pre-order the deluxe edition online and stream “I’ll Never Say No,” an outtake from Unleashed that now appears on this new collection. Ambrosia wrote this particular song with Chris D’Antonio of The Wayside Shakeup. D’Antonio’s signature funky flavored guitar playing can be heard all over this infectious pop romp. This track perfectly balances the writing and musical styles of the two artists, as D’Antonio’s slick guitar stylings meld seamlessly with Ambrosia’s brilliant pop simplicity.
Originally released last spring, Unleashed has spawned some of Ambrosia’s most successful songs to date, “Let Me Be Your Secret” (which gets a remix on the new re-issue), “One Step Back” (which listeners can hear multiple versions of on the deluxe set), and “Pisces and the Scorpio” (which Ambrosia will be releasing a brand new music video for in the coming weeks.)
