Blurring genre lines, buzzing Miami artist GARZI unleashes his new single “Higher” today. Get it HERE.

By way of this explosive new track, he also announces his signing to Capitol Records. Standing at the intersection of rock and rap, GARZI aims to blaze a new trail – differentiating himself from the SoundCloud rap pack – with what he describes as, “Alternative 808s.” “I like to describe my music as me throwing up my emotions on the track,” he says. “I freestyle my feelings until it forms the song.”

Originally hailing from Miami, GARZI merged Warped Tour spirit with South Florida’s buzzing hip-hop scene. He translates this intensity into a singular style, as evidenced on his initial independently-released singles such as “Demonstrate,” which clocked over 7 million streams on SoundCloud alone. “Higher” paves the way for more music very soon – GARZI is prepping his major label debut EP and collaborating with alternative icons like John Feldmann (Goldfinger, Good Charlotte, Panic! At The Disco) and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
